Estate Planning

Caregiver Inheritance/Elder Law/Elder Protection

California has specific laws about caregivers and the means by which they can inherit from the people they serve. To protect against elder abuse and elder fraud, California requires that elderly people speak with a lawyer and obtain a Certificate of Independent Review in order to leave an inheritance to a caregiver.
